Job Overview – Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

Grow your nursing career with our client as a Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Dover, NJ, delivering compassionate care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role is perfect for a dedicated LPN skilled in patient care, medication administration, and health monitoring, ensuring safety, well-being, and a supportive environment.

Compensation: $40/hour

Location: Dover, NJ

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) or Thursday – Saturday (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Responsibilities as the Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

  • Direct Patient Care: Provide nursing care and ensure the well-being of individuals.
  • Medication Administration: Dispense medications and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Daily Living Support: Assist with daily activities and implement health programs.
  • Medical Coordination: Accompany individuals to medical visits and train staff on health maintenance.
  • Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe environment and follow all regulatory protocols.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with healthcare teams, staff, and families to support care plans.

Qualifications for the Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Licensure: Active LPN license in the State of New Jersey.
  • Experience: 1+ year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and proficiency in electronic medical records.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and commitment to providing compassionate care.
  • Other Requirements: Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with a good driving record.
